A sign of the times

The sign race is officially on in Riverdale North.

It’s that time again when power tools, coffee, and good company take over the weekend. Our team hit the ground early to get those big red signs standing tall, and it feels good to see them lining the streets beside our neighbours’ colours. Democracy, Yukon-style.

Huge thanks to everyone who came out to help: hauling lumber, leveling posts, driving screws, and making sure everything was solid enough to handle a good Yukon gust. It takes a small crew (and a lot of laughs) to make it happen.

The election is set for November 3, and every sign going up is a reminder of what’s at stake and how much this community cares. Whether you’re seeing red, orange, or blue on your morning drive, it’s a good sign that people are paying attention and ready to take part.

Let’s keep it positive, keep it local, and make sure everyone gets out to vote.
